Apple’s iPhone has to be one of the most hyped cell phones ever.
And the buzz cranked up a notch when the company recently launched it’s TV ad blitz and announced that the phones will go on sale June 29. The phones will boast a brand new interface (the ad shows a user flipping through CD covers as if the phone were a jukebox) that can switch from a vertical to a horizontal screen. Bundled in the phone will be an iPod and internet tools.
This nifty phone comes with a hefty price: $499 for the 4GB model and $599 for the 8GB model. It will only be available at AT&T (formerly Cingular) stores, on a first-come, first-served basis. Of course, you’ll need a new or renewed two-year contract to buy one.
