Kathleen L. Gerdes lives in Falmouth and is self-employed as a house manager for several local families. She enjoys photography, tole painting and stained glasswork and also plans and organizes “Women’s Retreat Weekends” on Peaks Island twice a year. “It’s a time for the women to relax and enjoy the island,” she says.
Kathleen was on Peaks Island for “Women’s Getaway Weekend” with five other women when she took this photo from the back shore on Nov. 10 at 6:10 am She calls it “Sunrise on Peaks” and says it’s “another example of the way life should be.”
