There’s nothing worse than a wobbly table or chair leg when holiday guests cozy up for a big meal. If you’ve got a chair that tips from side to side every time large Aunt Marge adjusts her weight, try repurposing some old wine bottle corks. Cut a slice of cork horizontally to the desired thickness and set it under the table leg or glue it to the bottom of the uneven chair. Then if Aunt Marge falls out of her chair after too many toddys at least it’s not your fault.
