Art sale in Cape benefits canines in need

More than a dozen artists and artisans gather this Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 am-4 pm for the annual Art for Dog Sake sale at Sprague Hall in Cape Elizabeth. A $2 donation at the door supports the Maine-based rescue Dogs Deserve Better. The national nonprofit is dedicated to freeing chained dogs, and in 2006 the Maine chapter placed more than 200 forgotten dogs in loving homes.
