What better way to exhibit all this art than an ART WALK. Portland offers the largest art walk on the first Friday of every month, while nearby towns offer walks on other dates. | Occurring every First Friday from 5-8 pm, the art walk is year-long with an always eclectic mix of art. The walk is sponsored by PACA and Portland's Downtown District with the mission to "open the doors of Portland's visual arts community by joining together and introducing a wider audience to the unique vitality of the artists and venues of Portland. Promoting interest with non-exclusivity and easy access, thereby strengthening the arts and community through diversity and celebration." ![]() SOUTH PORTLAND'S SECOND SATURDAY ART STROLL The Second Saturday Art Stroll is a monthly event that will showcase the thriving arts community and diverse cultural businesses along the Cottage to Shore Road area. A short stroll from South Portland's Meeting House Hill to Cape Elizabeth's Engine One Firehouse allows you to experience a unique kaleidoscope of artistic and culinary venues. These local establishments will hold opening receptions, tours, and events to showcase Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, and local artists every second Saturday of the month.
